WHAT ARE YOU FIGHTING FOR? that sole purpose outweighs your tiredness on court it overrides EVERYTHING. what are you fighting for? think about it. and come back stronger. because when we fight with a purpose, we fight harder, stronger. we are FIERCE. and we need to show the opponents that. we are NOT, i repeat, NOT PUSHOVERS/SISSYS/WEAKLINGS. we need to show that if they want that goal in the back of OUR net, they need to earn it. we cannot let small goals like these go in ever again.
Lessons learnt: 1. USE YOUR BODY TO STOP BOUNCING BALLS. stop using your stick cause it's utterly useless especially if it's in front of the goal. as you have probably witnessed 1st hand today, it usually results in a goal against us. so STOP DOING IT. 2. COMMUNICATE. dont be afraid of shouting in court. someone in court at that time needs to take control of the situation and direct it. if you know someone should be stepping up to the opponent, tell her! if you're passing to some one call for her. communication is CRUCIAL. 3. USE YOUR STRENGTH we are strong, but yet somehow we're pressuring the opponents too little. if you want the ball, go in a get it with full determination. you CANNOT possibly win the ball if you try to do it halfheartedly. go in with all your might and dont give up NO MATTER HOW TIRED YOU ARE. 4. HAVE CONFIDENCE. alot of times today, the top man was driving up into their court. but because you hesitated you either lost the ball or had a failed attempt. if you wanna drive in, drive in with all your heart and WANT THAT GOAL. the rest of the line should step up too and help her. but also be ready to run back. 5. STOP BALL WATCHING. enough said. you ball watch and never watch the man, boom a goal. 90% man, 10% ball. you need to watch BOTH. 6. [add on if you can think of any]
